ISCM Ranking

The ISCM Pharma Supply Chain Ranking evaluates the end-to-end performance of India’s pharmaceutical ecosystem across four distinct groups: Large Firms, Indian Arms of MNCs Listed in India, Mid-Sized Firms, and Hospitals. Using its established sectoral methodology, ISCM analyzes both quantitative indicators—such as revenue growth, EBITDA performance, inventory turns, cash-conversion cycle, procurement efficiency, and asset utilization—and qualitative dimensions including digitalization, planning maturity, sustainability, resilience, capability development, and DEI

This dual-lens assessment ensures that rankings reflect not only operational efficiency but also the strategic readiness, governance, and transformation depth essential for modern pharma supply chains. Companies undergo structured evaluation through CSCO interactions, enabling ISCM to convert strategic and qualitative initiatives into comparable metrics that reflect supply chain intensity, democratization, and maturity

The ISCM ranking identified 30 Supply chain champions from 24 sectors. And since there was no limitation on the number of companies from a sector, some of the best performers from each sector could not make it to the top 30. However, in their own realm, they turned in stellar performance. We believe that these companies need to be recognized for their efforts.

The Pharma Ranking highlights firms that excel in ensuring product availability, regulatory compliance, cold-chain integrity, and risk-managed global sourcing—challenges uniquely critical to the sector. With the Pharma Sector Ranking, we celebrate the distinctive achievements of companies that have emerged as leaders within the pharma ecosystem, showcasing unparalleled expertise in navigating the complexities of modern supply chain dynamics. These Pharma Supply Chain Champions have demonstrated outstanding ability in optimizing their supply chain operations, addressing industry-specific challenges, and fostering innovation to stay ahead. From meticulous planning and execution to embracing advanced technologies, each champion exemplifies a commitment to operational excellence that sets them apart within their sector
